A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-1-405 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON WHOSE DRIVER'S LICENSE WAS SUSPENDED FOR A MOVING VIOLATION MUST COMPLETE A DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE BEFORE HIS PRIVILEGE TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE MAY BE REINSTATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.
