HOUSE RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING JULY 2026 AS "DISABILITY AWARENESS AND DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH" IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND

This Rhode Island House resolution officially designates July 2026 as "Disability Awareness and Disability Pride Month" to honor the contributions of people with disabilities and the 36th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The measure encourages state agencies, schools, businesses, and community groups to promote accessibility and inclusion during that month. Additionally, the resolution directs the Secretary of State to send a certified copy to Tina Guenette of Real Access Motivates Progress.
