AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL OFFENSES -- WEAPONS
SB 150 makes it unlawful for individuals within the state to manufacture, sell, purchase, or possess firearm silencers. These activities are permitted only if the person fully complies with federal regulations, specifically the National Firearms Act and the Gun Control Act of 1968. Law enforcement officers are exempt when using these devices within the scope of their official duties. Violations of this state law would result in imprisonment for at least one year and one day.
