It changes the name of the law to the Elderly and High Risk Immunization Act and expands eligibility for pneumococcal vaccines to people aged 65 and older while lowering the age threshold for influenza vaccines to 50 and older. The legislation also makes minor editorial adjustments to the existing text and will become effective 60 days after signing.
