An Act amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in other offenses, further providing for the offense of invasion of privacy.

This bill proposes to create a new crime called invasion of privacy in Pennsylvania's criminal code. It would make a single violation a first-degree misdemeanor, while multiple violations would be upgraded to a third-degree felony. Additionally, anyone convicted of this offense would be required to delete or destroy any photos, videos, or other recordings they possess related to the crime, with failure to do so resulting in a separate third-degree felony charge. The law would take effect 60 days after it is passed.
