An Act amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in general provisions, further providing for definitions; in registration of vehicles, further providing for registration card to be signed and exhibited on demand; and, in licensing of drivers, further providing for issuance and content of driver's license and for carrying and exhibiting driver's license on demand.

This bill updates Pennsylvania vehicle laws to clarify that vehicle operators, rather than just registrants, must be able to show proof of registration when requested. It also requires drivers to carry and display their physical driver's license or identification card on demand. Additionally, the legislation allows messenger and agent services to request a physical driver's license or ID card when transferring vehicle ownership or issuing new registration plates. These changes aim to streamline identification requirements for vehicle transactions and ensure drivers can readily present their credentials.
