SB 1533: Relating to wildfire; and prescribing an effective date.

Makes public education providers and federally recognized Indian tribes in Oregon eligible for certain grants related to cleaner air spaces and smoke filtration systems. Instructs Department of Human Services to provide support to public education providers and federally recognized Indian tribes in Oregon that take lead roles in operating and planning cleaner air spaces. Increases minimum age for participation in Oregon Conservation Corps Program from 13 years of age to 16 years of age. Instructs Department of Land Conservation and Development to identify recommended changes to statewide land use planning program and local comprehensive plans and zoning codes related to wildfire risk, and to report to Legislative Assembly, State Wildfire Programs Director and Wildfire Programs Advisory Council on recommended changes on or before October 1, 2022. Provides that accessory dwelling units must comply with applicable requirements related to defensible space. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.

HB 4080: Relating to a principal Act for predator damage control districts; prescribing an effective date.

Authorizes landowners who meet certain criteria to petition for formation of predator damage control district as funding mechanism to pay actual costs to county of preventing, reducing and mitigating damage to property from predatory animals. Defines "prevent, reduce and mitigate damage to property from predatory animals" to include both lethal and nonlethal methods of prevention, reduction and mitigation. Establishes presumptive charges of $2 per acre for tax lots of 10 or more acres and $50 flat rate charge for tax lots of less than 10 acres. Creates cause of action under district program to counties, landowners, districts and cities involved in program. Provides for continued existence of districts formed before sunset date of chapter 650, Oregon Laws 2015. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.

SB 59: Relating to the Columbia River Fisheries Enhancement Fund; and prescribing an effective date.

Eliminates ] Extends sunset on Columbia River Fisheries Enhancement Fund. Eliminates ] Extends sunset on State Fish and Wildlife Commission authority to charge for endorsements to certain Columbia Basin fishing licenses and deposit endorsement moneys to fund. Makes ] Extends sunset on youth license and pioneer license exemptions from endorsement charges permanent ]. Provides that commission may not require or collect endorsement charges under certain circumstances. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die.
