What changed between versions
The agencies required to develop the strategic plan were expanded from the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission and Educator Advancement Council to include the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, Department of Education, and Department of Early Learning and Care.
The requirement to update the strategic plan was changed from an annual update by June 30 to a five-year update cycle.
The plan requirements were broadened to include a vision, mission, priorities, goals, timelines, and progress indicators, rather than focusing only on nontraditional pathways and standards.
Reporting requirements were changed to include an analysis of progress in biennial reports under ORS 342.448, replacing the previous requirement to submit separate reports to legislative committees by July 1 of even-numbered years.
