Summary
Establishes education savings account (ESA) program. Allows participating students to obtain grants from education savings accounts to pay for qualified education expenses for specified types of schools or education programs. Establishes Education Savings Program Fund and transfers moneys from State School Fund distributions for use in education savings accounts. Requires Department of Education, in consultation with State Treasurer, to establish parent advisory committee. First applies to 2024-2025 school year. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
