Relating to forestland that supplies drinking water systems.

Prohibits certain forest operation activities on forestland that supplies drinking water for one or more public water systems. Allows certain exemptions. Makes violation of prohibition Class A misdemeanor subject to maximum of $6,250 fine, 364 days' imprisonment, or both. Makes violation of prohibition or terms and conditions of exemption subject to civil penalty as determined by State Board of Forestry rule, not to exceed $5,000. Requires written plan for forest operation conducted on forestland that supplies drinking water for one or more public water systems. Limits State Board of Forestry adoption of best management practices for activities on forestland that supplies drinking water for one or more public water systems.
