Require Commerce Dept conduct an international air service study

This bill directs the Ohio Department of Commerce to conduct a study on how to encourage more international flights to and from airports in Ohio cities. The study will analyze the economic benefits of increased travel, review what other states are doing to attract international routes, and identify specific destinations in regions like the Middle East and South Asia. It will also determine what financial incentives or policies are needed to persuade private airlines to expand their services. The department must complete this research within six months and submit its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the state legislature.
