Require content audit of educator preparation programs

This bill requires the state's higher education chancellor to survey all teacher and administrator preparation programs to assess their current instruction on mental health, behavior management, and classroom strategies. The survey will specifically examine how these programs teach educators to handle trauma, manage student conduct, and support their own well-being. Using the results, the state will create a report with recommendations to improve how future educators are trained to support student success and well-being. The final report will be shared with school districts, the legislature, and the governor within one year of the bill taking effect.
