A BILL for an Act to create and enact a new chapter to title 26.1 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to the North Dakota insurance incentive program; to amend and reenact subsection 1 of section 21-10-06 and subsection 3 of section 26.1-01-07.1 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to the insurance incentive fund; to provide a continuing appropriation; and to provide an exemption.

Added a new section (Section 1) that expands the list of funds the state board may invest, adding the insurance incentive fund to the list of investable funds.

Modified the surplus transfer threshold in Section 2 from $1 million to $20 million, changing when remaining funds in the insurance incentive fund must be transferred to the general fund.

Changed the bill number designation from '25.1217.01000' to '25.1217.02000' and updated bill formatting to indicate this is the first engrossment version.
