This North Carolina bill modifies local government boundaries and property management rules for several municipalities. It removes specific land parcels from the corporate limits of the Towns of Andrews, Boiling Spring Lakes, and the City of Asheville, while adding new tracts to the Town of Edenton. The legislation also grants the Town of Beaufort the authority to lease its waterfront property for periods exceeding ten years under certain conditions. Changes regarding tax liability and outstanding liens for the affected properties take effect on June 30, 2024.
