Authorizing the village of Southampton to alienate and discontinue the use of certain parklands

This bill authorizes the village of Southampton to sell certain parklands to build a new wastewater treatment facility. In exchange, the village must dedicate new land as parkland, ensuring the replacement land is not currently used for public open space. If the new parkland is worth less than the land being sold, the village must use the difference to buy additional parkland or improve existing recreational facilities. The sale cannot proceed until any federal funding requirements for converting parkland are fully satisfied.
