Directs the department of transportation and certain public authorities to study certain bridges spanning bodies of water connected to deep water ports in the state

The bill was amended to remove the requirement for the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority to study specific bridges (Bronx-Whitestone, Cross Bay Veterans Memorial, Henry Hudson, Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges, Robert F. Kennedy, Throgs Neck, and Verrazzano-Narrows). The bill also removed the requirement for the Port Authority to study the George Washington, Bayonne, Goethals, and Outerbridge Crossing bridges. Additionally, the list of required study elements was updated to clarify that the evaluation of support structures applies to all bridges without a separate, redundant item for barriers. Finally, the list of officials who must receive the study reports was shortened by removing the Speaker of the Assembly and the Assembly Minority Leader.
