Relates to general hospital cost reports

Bill S 7901 requires general hospitals to publicly post their annual financial and statistical reports, known as institutional cost reports, on their websites. These reports are the same ones hospitals submit to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Hospitals must display these reports conspicuously and post them within 30 days of submitting them to CMS. Failure to comply with this public posting requirement will subject general hospitals to penalties.
