Specifically, stations must install a call device (mounted 34-48 inches high) that alerts staff when a driver with a valid NY, state, or federal disabled license plate needs help dispensing fuel. Staff must then provide free fuel assistance during operating hours, with clear ADA-compliant signage. Owners with one station have 1 year to comply; multi-station owners must comply with 50% of stations within 1 year and all within 3 years.
