Recognizing August 16, 2026, as Brook Trout Day in the State of New York

This is a ceremonial resolution (not a law) designating August 16, 2026, as "Brook Trout Day" in New York State. It recognizes the brook trout as New York's official fresh-water fish, which was first adopted in 1975 and re-adopted on August 16, 2006.
