Congratulating Eugene Cummings upon the occasion of receiving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout, the most prestigious of Scouting honors, on March 7, 2026

This is a ceremonial resolution (Assembly Resolution No. 947) honoring Eugene Cummings for earning the Eagle Scout rank - the highest achievement in Scouts BSA, earned by only about 5% of Scouts. It recognizes his community service project, which involved building a kayak and canoe storage rack at Mountain Lake Park in Warwick, New York, after 150 hours of work including fundraising and volunteer coordination. The resolution formally congratulates him on this achievement and directs that a copy be sent to him. As a non-binding resolution, it has no policy impact or direct effect on any laws or people beyond this specific recognition.
