K 259 New York Assembly · 2025 Regular Session

Congratulating Forrest Slingerland upon the occasion of capturing the 2025 NYSPHSAA Boys Nordic Skiing 7.5K Individual Championship

This is a ceremonial resolution (Assembly Resolution No. 259), not a substantive bill. It formally congratulates Forrest Slingerland, a Glens Falls High School student, for winning the 2025 NYSPHSAA Boys Nordic Skiing 7.5K Individual Championship. The resolution recognizes his athletic achievement, time (25:00.7), and margin of victory (45 seconds over second place), and expresses legislative support for his accomplishments. It has no policy impact or legal effect; it simply directs the legislature to send a copy of the resolution to Slingerland.
