Renames the 8th Avenue subway station to the 8th Avenue - Brooklyn Chinatown station

This bill directs the Metropolitan Transportation Authority to rename the 8th Avenue subway station in Brooklyn to the "8th Avenue - Brooklyn Chinatown station." The change will apply specifically to the station located at the intersection of 8th Avenue and 62nd Street on the BMT West End Line. To implement this, the MTA must use funds specifically allocated for the project and update all station signs, maps, and other materials to reflect the new name within ten months. The legislation takes effect immediately upon passage.
