Permits certain members of the state liquor authority or officers, deputies, assistants, inspectors or employees thereof to be a member of a community board of education

The bill was amended to broaden the eligibility for state liquor authority employees to serve on school boards. Previously, they could only serve on community boards of education in New York City; now, they can serve on any board of education within the state. This change removes the geographic restriction, allowing these employees to participate in local education governance outside of NYC.
