Relates to adult care facility financial statements

This bill requires adult care facilities with more than nine beds to have their annual financial statements reviewed by an independent licensed accountant. The review must follow specific accounting standards and confirm the statements accurately reflect the facility's finances. Facilities with nine or fewer beds are exempt from this requirement. The state health department retains the authority to request a full accountant's opinion if needed for any facility.
