Grants David M. Sturtz retroactive retirement service credit

This bill grants David M. Sturtz, a police officer in Liverpool, retroactive retirement credit for his time working as a sheriff's deputy between 2002 and 2011. To receive this credit, he must file a request with the state comptroller within one year of the bill taking effect and transfer his membership to the state and local police and fire retirement system. The Village of Liverpool will cover all past costs associated with this change, and Sturtz will not get a refund of his previous contributions.
