Authorizes the issuance of distinctive plates for medical technologists

This bill allows medical technologists in New York to request special license plates that display their profession's title. To receive these plates, applicants must prove they are currently working as medical technologists and pay a standard registration fee plus an extra $15 annual service charge. The Department of Motor Vehicles must post a $6,000 bond to produce the plates, unless at least 200 orders are received beforehand, with any collected fees funding future plate designs.
