Relates to granting retroactive tier II membership in the NY state and local police and fire retirement system for Giuseppe T. Rosini

This bill allows Giuseppe T. Rosini, a firefighter from the Wading River Fire District, to receive retroactive Tier II retirement status instead of the Tier VI status he currently holds. To qualify, Rosini must submit a written request to the state comptroller within one year of the law taking effect, and the fire district will cover all associated past service costs. The legislation does not require Rosini to refund any retirement contributions he has already made.
