Provides incarcerated individuals with access to breast cancer screenings and information about breast self-examinations

This law requires correctional facilities to offer free breast cancer screenings every two years to inmates held in state or local prisons and detention centers. It also mandates that these facilities provide educational programs teaching incarcerated individuals how to perform breast self-examinations. The changes apply to all sentenced individuals in general confinement facilities and are set to begin ninety days after the law is enacted.
