Commemorating the Finger Lakes' community's celebration of Lake Friendly Living, May 2024
This bill is a ceremonial resolution that formally recognizes the Finger Lakes community's 2024 celebration of Lake Friendly Living. It honors the work of the Lake Friendly Living Coalition, which promotes water conservation and educates the public on reducing pollutants in the region's lakes. The measure does not create new laws or funding but instead directs the legislature to pause briefly to acknowledge the event and sends a copy of the resolution to the coalition.
