Authorizes the city of Buffalo to offer an optional twenty year retirement plan to firefighters Rhiannon Maguire and Jeffrey Brett

It applies only to these individuals who failed to apply on time for reasons not caused by their own negligence, such as administrative errors. The city must formally approve the plan within nine months and pay for any associated costs over a ten-year period. Once approved, the firefighters can enroll and receive full retirement benefits as if they had applied earlier.
