Requires certain child day care centers to have video surveillance

This bill mandates that child day care centers caring for children aged three and under install video surveillance in all areas where these young children are present. The law requires facilities to record these areas whenever children are there, except in bathrooms and diaper-changing zones, and it allows for incidental coverage of these private spaces only if the room's layout makes it unavoidable. Centers must keep the recordings for at least 90 days and provide them to government agencies or law enforcement when investigating abuse, neglect, or licensing violations. Additionally, the bill specifies that if a recording is requested for an investigation, the facility must retain it until the matter is fully resolved or the inspection is complete.
