Relates to the compounding, dispensing and sale of pharmaceuticals to veterinarians

This bill allows pharmacists to dispense veterinary-specific compounded medications directly to veterinarians. It also permits veterinarians to keep these drugs in stock for administration and sale under a non-patient specific prescription from a licensed veterinary practitioner. However, if the drugs contain opioids or other controlled substances, their dispensing must follow specific limits set by the Department of Health. The law takes effect immediately upon enactment.
