The training, created by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services with input from gaming and gambling advocacy groups, teaches staff to respond empathetically, provide accurate resource information, and guide patrons through self-exclusion processes. It applies to all employees who interact with the public at these gambling- or addiction-related agencies.
