S 179 creates two new programs to improve access to New Jersey Transit (NJT) services. The "NJpass Program" provides discounted group fares for eligible organizations (like training providers, schools, government agencies, and nonprofits) when purchasing tickets or passes for their employees, students, or clients. The "GO NJ Transit Card Program" establishes a reloadable transit card requiring a $10 minimum balance that never expires and can be used for any NJT service.
