Vehicle owners who apply can purchase these plates for a $50 one-time fee plus a $10 annual renewal fee, with all collected fees deposited into a dedicated "Ancient Order of Hibernians License Plate Fund." The fund, managed by the state, will annually transfer money to the AOH's New Jersey State Board after covering the Motor Vehicle Commission's administrative costs. The plates must display the AOH emblem and slogan, chosen in consultation with the organization, and the bill requires the AOH to cover initial program costs up to $25,000.
