Makes various revisions to juvenile justice law.

This bill revises New Jersey's juvenile justice law to address the placement of juveniles who turn 18 while under supervision. It requires courts to hold hearings when juveniles reach age 18 to determine if they should remain in juvenile detention facilities, be transferred to adult county jails, or be placed in secure facilities operated by the Youth Justice Commission. The bill specifies factors courts must consider in these determinations, including the juvenile's physical/mental danger to others, gang affiliations, nature of crimes, prior delinquency history, maturity, and risk of self-harm. It also establishes a two-year limit for final disposition of juvenile cases and provides credit for time served while awaiting a prosecutor's motion to waive jurisdiction.
