Expands eligibility for NJCLASS Teacher Loan Redemption Program.

This bill expands New Jersey's NJCLASS Teacher Loan Redemption Program to include more teachers. It creates two new tiers: teachers in high-need fields at any public school (Tier 2) receive 20% loan forgiveness up to $3,750 annually ($15,000 max), and teachers in any subject at any public school (Tier 3) receive 15% up to $2,500 annually ($10,000 max). The bill also allows graduate student loans to qualify for forgiveness, which was previously limited to undergraduate loans. Additionally, it requires annual surveys to identify teacher shortages statewide, with findings reported to the legislature each July.
