It requires these offenders to register with law enforcement, prohibits them from adopting, purchasing, or breeding animals, and mandates annual address verification. The registry will include information about offenders, with different levels of public notification based on risk assessment. Information about offenders with moderate or high risk of re-offense will be available on an Internet registry, while low-risk offenders will not be publicly listed. Offenders may be removed from the registry after 10 years of no offenses.
