Revises provisions relating to educational programs. (BDR 34-275)
What changed between versions
The formula for calculating the maximum grant amount for CTE programs was changed to use the proportion of students in advanced courses instead of the proportion of all students in CTE programs.
The definition of an 'advanced course' was updated to explicitly include CTE concentrator courses, work-based learning programs, industry-recognized credential activities, dual credit courses, and courses requiring a CTE concentrator as a prerequisite.
Schools offering work-based learning programs must now submit reports containing specific information and data disaggregation required by the federal Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act.
The application process for work-based learning programs now requires a detailed description of how student performance will be evaluated, including mandatory on-site evaluations.
