Revises provisions relating to education. (BDR 34-894)

AB 401 eliminates the requirement for Nevada high school students to take a college and career readiness assessment to earn a standard high school diploma. The bill repeals laws that previously mandated the State Board of Education to select the assessment and the Department of Education to create an informational pamphlet about it. It also removes the need for schools to include assessment information in required plans, reports, and communications, and eliminates related administrative duties for schools and charter schools. These changes simplify graduation requirements by removing a standardized test mandate from Nevada's education code.
