Interim study to determine the quality of patient services at abortion clinics in Nebraska and the nature and quality of state oversight of those clinics

This resolution (LR 238) directs Nebraska's Health and Human Services Committee to conduct an interim study examining abortion clinic services and state oversight. The study will review clinic compliance with state laws, physician qualifications for abortion services, and adherence to medical ethics and hygiene standards. It does not change laws but will report findings and recommendations to the Legislature after completion. The committee is scheduled to hold a hearing on October 16, 2025.
