Interim study to examine and monitor issues relating to broadband and broadband deployment in Nebraska

This resolution (LR 157) directs Nebraska's Transportation and Telecommunications Committee to conduct an interim study on broadband deployment issues in the state. The study will examine federal and state broadband expansion projects, coordination between local governments, network reliability, regulatory changes affecting consumers, and other related challenges. It does not create new laws or funding but aims to inform future policy decisions. The committee will report its findings and recommendations to the Legislature after completing the study.
