Revise education laws to amend early literacy targeted interventions

Bill LC 3680 proposed revisions to education laws aimed at modifying early literacy targeted interventions for students. The bill sought to adjust how schools identify and support children with early reading challenges through updated intervention protocols. However, the bill did not advance beyond the drafting stage, dying in process in May 2025 after being assigned a drafter in December 2024. As a result, no policy changes were enacted, and the proposed amendments did not affect any current education programs or students.
