Reestablish the working interdisciplinary network of guardianship stakeholders

This bill reestablishes a working interdisciplinary network of guardianship stakeholders in Montana to evaluate and improve the state's adult guardianship and conservatorship system. The nine-member network includes representatives from courts, health services, advocacy groups, professional guardians, and healthcare providers, who will meet at least four times a year to identify system weaknesses, review national standards, and recommend training methods. Additionally, the bill creates a grant program administered by the judicial branch to fund training and guidance for family members, public defenders, judges, and volunteer guardians serving indigent individuals, while prohibiting network members from receiving grant funds.
