Provide for digital driver’s license

This bill (LC 1919) proposed allowing drivers to use digital versions of their licenses instead of physical cards. It would have directly affected license holders by providing an optional digital alternative for identification and vehicle registration. The bill died in committee in May 2025 without becoming law, so no digital license system was implemented through this legislation.
