Creates the "Student-Teacher Collaboration Advisory Board"

This bill establishes a new Student-Teacher Collaboration Advisory Board to provide input on classroom best practices and curriculum development across the state. The board will be composed of one representative each from every congressional district, including a deputy commissioner of education, a student in grade eight or higher, and a teacher with at least two years of experience. Appointed annually by the commissioner of education, the members will meet once a year without pay to discuss educational programs and submit a summary report to the governor and the legislature.
