Modifies provisions relating to professional licensing

This bill creates a pathway for out-of-state professionals to obtain a one-time, two-year temporary license in Missouri if they have at least three years of work experience in their field but lack a specific Missouri license. To qualify, applicants must be U.S. citizens, pass the standard profession-specific exam, and may also need to pass a state law exam if required by their regulatory board. The temporary license is restricted to practice within Missouri only and cannot be renewed, used to join interstate compacts, or serve as a stepping stone to reciprocity agreements in other states. Additionally, the law excludes certain occupations, such as those covered by existing interstate compacts, electrical contractors, and assistant physicians, from this new temporary licensing option.
