Creates provisions relating to the cost of insulin

HB 1585 requires health insurance plans in Missouri to cap the cost of a thirty-day supply of prescription insulin at $100 for individuals and groups. This price limit applies to plans issued or renewed on or after August 28, 2024, and will increase annually based on changes in the Consumer Price Index. The bill also directs state departments to study insulin pricing practices and submit public recommendations before the law expires on January 1, 2025.
