Yazoo County; authorize to establish Yazoo Economic Partnership as economic and industrual development authority.

This bill authorizes the Yazoo County Board of Supervisors to create a new organization called the Yazoo Economic Alliance to manage economic and industrial development within the county. The Alliance would be governed by five trustees who can either be the supervisors themselves or independently appointed qualified residents, and it would have the power to acquire land, build infrastructure, and sell or lease property to businesses for industrial or commercial use. The legislation also allows the county to dissolve its existing economic development district and requires trustees to serve without pay while reimbursing their actual expenses.
