City of Philadelphia; authorize a contribution to Philadelphia Transit.

This bill authorizes the city government of Philadelphia, Mississippi, to donate up to $10,000 from its general fund to Philadelphia Transit, a nonprofit organization that provides transportation services to the public, elderly, and disabled residents in Neshoba County. The contribution is limited to a one-time payment during the calendar year 2024 and is left to the city's discretion. Although the legislation was referred to committee in early 2024, it did not advance further and ultimately died in committee without becoming law.
